CINCHORTHO undertook a large investment in transitioning to digital in 2015, with the move to new dedicated premised in 2015, along with integration of 3shape hardware and design software.

A new digital workflow opened new possibilities within the laboratory.

We introduced EVEN which was the first dental aligner designed and produced in Ireland.

Greater things were to come, following a collaboration with Queens University in Belfast and NWRC design centre in Limavady, Soundly anti-snoring device was created.  Probably the simplest MAD device on the market, Cinchortho has been granted FDA 510K clearance to market and sell Soundly anti snoring device in the US.

Digital study models have so many, obvious benefits over plaster.  First is storage - 1000's of files can be stored on one hard drive the size of a cereal box, so need for rooms or garages full of boxes.

Retrieval is so much simpler, its like searching for a song on a playlist.

But don't worry if physical models are needed, because we can print them on the premises.
