Our aim is to always improve, or try to make things better for our clients and their patients.  We were one of the first specialist orthodontic dental laboratories in Ireland and one of the first to invest in digital production.

Cinchortho also looks outside the orthodontic market to find areas where we can apply this ethos and custom fit oral devices for treatment of snoring is one of them.  

Having worked with Formlabs of Boston and our local college's product design centre, with support from InvestNI, we invented Soundly anti-snoring device, the international patent for which was published in January 2021.  

Soundly trials began in January 2019 and the change in the lives of those who volunteered have been remarkable.  Our efforts were recognised in 2020 when Cinchortho was crowned a Platinum innovator by the Innovate NI and Soundly featured on their posters alongside another local innovator, Frank Pantridge inventor of the defibrillator.

Soundly gained FDA 510K clearance in September 2022, allowing marketing and selling of Soundly anti snoring device in the US.
